Unrecognized greatness of SOCKS!!

Let’s get right to one of my favorite topics in the world of fashion…socks! Ah, yes the much over-looked under-appreciated world inside the shoe. The shoe, the “glory whore” that is footwear so mocks the hard working sock, much like the capitalist pig-dogs oppress the workers party! But, enough about my family, back to the loyal, lovable, often shed or neglected sock. I am a sock man for the same reason I am a watch guy, hat guy, sunglass person, and gadget guru – ACCESSORIES!!!!

You gotta love accessories that serve a purpose as well as defining you as a wary consumer with an eye for detail (no –I am not a metrosexual). Very important note here; if you are interested in dress socks, or Lord forbid, hosiery – go away!! This article is not for you. However, if your socks are purchased based on function over form – welcome home brother/sister.

FRUiTS, or Kawaii, or Harajuku Free Style is a lot like Ravers was but without the pacifiers and ecstasy. Think colorful goth, with a mixture of lolita. FRUiTS comes to us from the same country that gave us Pokemon, Manga, and Hello Kitty – so prepare yourself for wild colors, cute little English t-shirts and otherwise insane looking combinations of clothes that do make them look like they were drawn for development in a comic book.
