Brain Blenders: BATTER UP!

Ok until someone at corporate coughs up some dough to purchase real video games that cost U.S. Currency I am going to keep my reviews strictly to free time wasting crappy flash games. First up is actually a surprisingly decent title called Yeti Penguin Baseball Game. YPBG is catchy, addictive, little game that has you swinging for the fences with a penguin instead of a baseball. The object is take control of the bat- welding Yeti, time up your swing with the falling penguin and smack it in just the right spot to send it on its way. Once the penguin is struck its distance from the point of impact is measured.

Where you hit the penguin will determine its flight trajectory and distance. If you hit it too high, it will get stuck nose-first in the ground, if you hit it too low, the penguin will slide on its belly and stop before it hits the 100 foot mark. The addictive part comes from trying to see how far you can hit the dang thing each time. You can easily burn an hour or so playing this game for the first time. Once you share your score with someone and they play it the competition can really heat up. (My best score is 411.0)
So don’t try to fight it everyone else in your office is probably already playing it and has their supposed 1300 foot mark score also. If they didn’t hit the print screen button and can not visually prove their score then him or she is a LIAR! (Testimony form Bob in cubicle 4 is not permissible)

THE GOOD
Addictive game play can get very competitive.

The Bad
Graphics load that could probably run on a Texas Instruments Calculator. Wearing out your mouse button from excessive clicks.....

The Donkey Kick
Putting off clearing out your desk because you are in the middle of trying to beat a score of 600, yet at the same you’ve just been fired for playing the game when you should have been working.
